The Bechstein That Wasn't Cursed

For two years Stockholm piano tuner Theo Lindqvist has quietly loosened strings on the old Bechstein belonging to Maj, a widowed harbour pilot who plays badly and laughs about it, just so she will keep calling him back. Now Maj is convinced the piano is cursed and wants his help choosing a replacement before it goes to auction on Saturday, and Theo must decide whether to confess, sabotage the new piano too, or let the Bechstein go and try to win her without a trick.
